Flinte
Flinte sound a bit like "Die fabelhafte Welt der Amelie" in a German poet universe, but with cigarettes and beer. Poetic German pop with edgy, tender lyrics and a lovely sound design that makes pictures in your head.
Alexa sings and writes lyrics. David plays guitar and composes. While Alexa leads a polyamorous relationship with soul, rap and Rio Reiser, David shreds his way across the stages of Europe with hardcore and metal. Both have the desire to go new ways. A first joint song is created: Kinda German pop, kinda not. And BANG! The band Flinte is born.
Many new songs and two cancellations follow. From now on Flinte takes every gig. Countless shows, sometimes more sometimes less glamorous: the spectrum ranges from the underwear department of an upscale Zurich department store to a Germany-wide support tour with Bremen soulman Flo Mega to a CSD tour through the queer republic. With her song "Rio", a tribute to the King of Germany, Flinte wows the jury in the final of the Rio Reiser Song Prize.
