Jules Ahoi
Already as a child JULES AHOI played drums in ska and punk bands, started with twelve also with hip-hop, made it in this genre under the name Caos on three albums and one crossover attempt ("Black-Sabbath-Riffs with Beats"), finally founded the band Manua Loa, whose folk songs enthused the surf scene for three albums before they disbanded.
He then disappeared to France, with nothing more than a rusty van, some luggage, a guitar and fleeting thoughts of having just successfully abandoned his studies. At the seaside, he struggled with street music and model jobs, but he wasn't happy either, so he moved on to Spain to think, where - be it coincidence or fate - he met a friend of his current manager.
"For the first time in my life, I have the feeling of having arrived," confirms JULES AHOI. Even in his parental home in Osnabrück he never really felt at home. "I was always on the go, always had the impression that I had to run away. From what I don't know. I was always looking for something."
