KYTES
The story of Michael Spieler, Timothy Lush, Kerim Öke and Thomas Sedlacek has been twisting and turning since 2012.
Since the school band they have been making music together in different constelations, during this time the guys from Munich have worked a lot on their sound and songwriting and in 2015 they released the ON THE RUN EP under the Milky Chance label Lichtidicht Records. This was followed by the first tour through the Republic and a big festival round with stops at SXSW 2016 in Austin / Texas, Melt! festival and MS Dockville.
The debut album HEADS AND TALES, released in September 2016, landed at #14 on the iTunes Alternative Charts, the songs have been streamed more than 7 million times on Spotify to date. Kytes started working on the follow-up album together with Viennese producer Filous in summer 2017, in parallel they played other European festivals including The Great Escape (UK), Sziget (HUN) and FM4 Frequency (AU). In April this year Kytes headlined the egoFM festivals and opened the evening across Europe for indie heroes Shout Out Louds and Everything Everything.
