Moritz Krämer

Moritz Krämer sounds reclined like Whitney or Andy Shauf, when a dry beat is buried under warm strings, sometimes like Kevin Morby, Wilco or Courtney Barnett, sometimes the arrangements with bongos, Motown strings and the Beatles bass of Alex Binder remind of anthems by Curtis Mayfield or Gladys Knight, through Andi Fins' piano playing of Randy Newman or Todd Rundgren.

In the end, it is always Krämer's voice and his way of singing that make up the sound, that make the German language sound so light and melodic.
