Phil Siemers
"I write pop songs that breathe jazz and soul." A good 13 years ago Phil Siemers wrote his first songs and finally landed on soul. Artists like Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye or Donny Hathaway inspired him. He never had to learn soul, he just has it – in his voice, in his feeling and in his songwriting. Phil Siemers has developed his own musical language, for which there are currently hardly any references in German pop.
