Shanty Brothers

The "Shanty Brothers" are three real Hamburg boys. The roles could be defined by originals like Hans Albers, Henry Vahl or Freddy Quinn. Although they don't agree on who is giving the Freddy Quinn part. "Well, he was Austrian." The Shantys instrument themselves sparingly with a double bass, accordion and guitars.

Here too, it is seldom clear which instrument changes to whom and when. It also happens that one or two Shanty Brothers go on a journey into the audience - when text-secure spectators sing along and feel unobserved. That's when the party gets going.
