Rooted in the Powerpop tradition Man Behind Tree blend chiming vocal harmonies with fuzzy surroundings.

The Berlin based four-piece released their first DIY album in 2011 and had the 2nd, Snoqualmie, published by Solaris Empire/Broken Silence in 2015 to some critical fanfare: "Sunny Westcoast melancholia“ attested The Rolling Stone.

2019 they worked with The Notwist producer Tad Klimp and looking forward to release their third record soon.
