Four guys from Stuttgart mix up German pop music. "Southern Soul" is what the Stuttgarter Zeitung calls it, "fresh funky pop" is the title of the indie blog "Klonblog" and the band around charismatic frontman Ben simply calls it: FUNKY POP.
Broadly influenced, SIMEON fuses hip-hop, rap, funk and soul into a fresh and new contemporary pop sound. Funky Pop is born. The androgynous nature of Ben Simeon, frontman and creative head of the band, covers the songs with a homoerotic touch.
